Pragathi, an NGO,www.pragathi.info from Chagantivaripalem has been working for the smooth functioning of the Government in this Mandal by keeping in view of the E-Governance taken up by our State Government of Andhra Pradesh.The former Chief Mininster of Andhra Pradesh Late Shri Venkatrami Reddy Bhavanam was from the village Muppalla.The telugu cinema actor who achieved guinnes book record upon acting in more number of telugu movies as comedy actor Mr. Brahmanandam was born in the village of Muppalla.
